PUBLIC NOTICE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
OIL, GAS, AND MINERAL LEASE
Notice is hereby given to all persons interested in the following described land in Adams County, Mississippi:
Section 47, Township 6 North, Range 1 West, Adams County, Mississippi
Tract 1: W/2 of NW/4 of Section 47, Township 6 North, Range 1 West
Tract 2: NW/4 of NE/4 of Section 47, Township 6 North, Range 1 West
Saving and Excepting from said lease, all rights below the base of the Wilcox Formation, which rights are reserved to the Lessor.
Sealed bids for oil, gas and mineral exploration and development of the above described lands will be received on or before 4:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, November 19, 2026, at the following location:

Natchez, Mississippi 39120
Interested parties are invited to submit sealed bids specifying the cash bonus to be paid by the Lessee for the Oil, Gas, and Mineral Lease.
All sealed bids must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Superintendent, Natchez-Adams School District of Adams County, Mississippi in the amount of the bid. If the bid is unsuccessful, the check will be returned to the bidder.
A form of the Oil, Gas and Mineral Lease Agreement prescribed by the Board of Trustees of the Natchez-Adams School District of Adams County, Mississippi, including the terms prescribed by the Board, is on file and available for inspection at the office of the Superintendent, Natchez-Adams School District, 10 Homochitto Street, Natchez, Mississippi 39120.
The lease form includes, among other terms, including the royalty to be retained by the Lessor, annual rentals to be paid by the Lessee, and the primary term of the Lease.
Prospective Lessees must bid on all of the land described herein as a single lease and in a single bid. Any bid offering to lease less than all of the land described herein will not be considered and shall be void.
The sealed bids will be opened and considered at 4:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, or as soon thereafter as possible, on November 19, 2026, at regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion. If a bid is accepted, the Board will award the Oil, Gas and Mineral Lease to the highest and best bidder for a cash bonus and in the manner prescribed by law.
The successful bidder shall bear the cost of the legal advertising for the Lease.
The Oil, Gas and Mineral lease is being offered and will be awarded pursuant to Mississippi Code Annotated § 37-7-305.
